Arlene S. Heffner, formerly of Barto

Arlene S. Heffner, 91, formerly of Barto, passed away Monday, November 19, 2018. She was the wife of the late Earl C. Heffner.

Born in Washington Twp., she was the daughter of the late Wilson S. and Verna (Yoder) Schoenly.

She was a member of Huff’s Union Church, Alburtis. Before retiring in 1991, Arlene worked at Bally Ribbon Mill.

Surviving are children: Joan, wife of John Gouldner, of Alburtis; Lee Heffner, Gary Heffner; and James Heffner and wife, Dodie (Miller), all of Bechtelsville; Glen Heffner and wife, Jessica (Morgan); and Linwood Heffner and wife, Carol (Miller), all of Barto; brother Harold Schoenly; grandchildren: Jen, Wendy, Keith, Jana, Steven, Meghan, Meredith, Seth, Robert, Michael, Stacey, Jaclyn, Nathan, Shannon, and Caitlin; and 16 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Jane Heffner Kukulka; daughter in law Judy (Mallon) Heffner, grandson, Todd Heffner, brothers and sisters.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, in Huff’s Church, 540 Conrad Road, Alburtis, PA 18011. Calling hours will begin at 9:30 a.m. also in the church. Interment will follow in Huff’s Union Cemetery.
