A congregational meeting is scheduled for Dec. 9 immediately following the 10:15 service. The purpose of the meeting will be to review, and consider for approval, a proposed budget for 2019, and also to elect new council members.
Please help a needy family this Christmas season by taking a tag from the Angel Tree. Drop off your gift by Dec. 9. Additional gift ideas are Gift Cards for Movie tickets, roller skating, ice skating, Colebrookdale Railroad, rock climbing gym, trampoline parks, and Arnold’s Family Fun Center are just a few ideas for family outings. You do not need to wrap the gift. Wrapping Paper/Gift Bags can be left with the gift and please leave the tag with the gift also. Thank you for your participation in this very important project.
The Cantata “Rhapsody in Bluegrass” will be presented on Dec. 16 at the 10:15 AM worship service, followed by a Potluck Luncheon. Snow Date will be Dec. 30. A second presentation of the Cantata will be held at 3 p.m. on Dec. 30 followed by refreshments.
Longest Night “A Service of Healing”: The Holidays are fast approaching! However, the holidays can have people feeling depressed, lonely, stressed out and/or anxious for a variety of reasons. If you are experiencing a difficult time dealing with the upcoming holidays, for whatever reason, please consider joining us for a Worship service of healing on Dec. 20 at 7 p.m. We invite you to this Service to be released from these feelings, to know that you are not alone and to help you put Joy & Light back in to your Holidays!

St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Douglassville, is hosting a Pork & Sauerkraut Dinner (Pork, Sauerkraut, Mashed Potatoes, Apple Sauce and Dessert,) on Jan. 5. Dine in or TakeOut. Also looking for volunteers to help prepare. There is a Sign-Up Sheet posted on the bulletin board in the Narthex. Proceeds will benefit the February, 2019 Mission Trip to Puerto Rico.
