Bindlestiff Family Cirkus to present ‘A Cardboard & Duct Tape Spectacular.’
READING >> Bindlestiff Family Cirkus will showcase their talents in “A Cardboard & Duct Tape Spectacular” at Reading Area Community College’s Miller Center on March 24 at 4 p.m. followed by a basic juggling workshop.
Established in 1995, Bindlestiff Family Cirkus has traveled the world bringing its unique hybrid of Vaudeville, Circus, Burlesque, and Sideshow to theaters, clubs, colleges, and festivals, adding a contemporary twist to the grand traditions of American Circus.
Bindlestiff Family Cirkus cofounders are Stephanie Monseu and Keith Nelson, who over the last two decades have hosted a variety of outrageous talent under the Bindlestiff banner. Their personal dedication to the variety arts, circus, vaudeville, sideshow, and burlesque has made the Bindlestiff Family Cirkus famous among audiences and within the variety performance community.
“A Cardboard & Duct Tape Spectacular” proves a little imagination can go a long way! The Bindlestiff Family Cirkus continues to reimagine classic American circus tradition with a unique contemporary twist.
Join Bindlestiff’s cast of acrobats, aerialists, jugglers, sideshow marvels, and vaudevillians as they pare the Cirkus down to its most basic elements: discovery, risk, and joy. Always ready to turn the ordinary into the extraordinary, these talented performers bring the audience back to their own childhood experiences of fun. Follow the Bindlestiffs and discover that some cardboard, duct tape, and creativity is all that’s needed to find delight.
Tickets are for sale with reduced price for students; a nominal $5 fee is charged to participate in the workshop. For more information and to purchase tickets, call the Miller Center box office at 610-607-6270 or visit millercenter.racc.edu.
