Veteran town justice decides to run for another term
James J. Faso Sr., who is in his 30th year as Town of Niagara justice, announced last week he’s running for another four-year term. He said he will seek endorsements from all political parties.
In his three decades on the bench, Faso, 77, has worked to computerize the court records and create laser images of all the court’s paper documents.
In addition to his membership in judges’ organizations, Faso serves on the board of directors of Riverdale Cemetery.
He served in the Marine Corps and after his discharge in 1963, took a job at Occidental Chemical Corp., from which he retired in 2000.
