Hochul to speak Fri­day at men­tor­ing con­fer­ence

Lt. Gov. Kathy Hochul will dis­cuss how men­tor­ing has helped her in her po­lit­i­cal ca­reer when she ap­pears Fri­day as the key­note speaker at the Western New York Men­tor­ing Mat­ters 2019 con­fer­ence.

Hochul will speak in Ni­a­gara Uni­ver­sity’s Rus­sell J. Salvatore Din­ing Com­mons dur­ing the day­long con­fer­ence or­ga­nized by Men­tor New York.

Other of­fer­ings will in­clude a panel dis­cus­sion on mak­ing sure high school stu­dents are ready to ad­just to col­lege, and six work­shops on men­tor­ing is­sues, to be held in St. Vin­cent’s Hall on the Ni­a­gara cam­pus.

Tick­ets for the con­fer­ence are $35, in­clud­ing break­fast and lunch, and can be pur­chased through the Men­tor New York web­site.
