Falls releases food truck schedule, lineup
“Food Truck Thursdays” will return to Niagara Falls in about a month.
The weekly events, which feature food trucks and occasional musical performances at the Niagara Falls Train Station, will return May 9, it was announced Monday by Mayor Paul A. Dyster and the city’s Office of Planning and Economic Development.
Events run from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. and take place rain or shine since there is indoor and outdoor seating.
The 2019 summer lineup begins with Dirty Bird Chicken N’ Waffles and an appearance by jazz and blues vocalist Sharon Bailey.
“It is a sure sign of the summer season with the return of Food Truck Truck Thursdays at the Niagara Falls Train Station,” Mayor Dyster said in a release. “This popular and ever-growing event continues to bring residents and tourists alike together over some of Western New York’s greatest culinary and musical talents, and we look forward to its return for many years to come.”

“Since its launch, Food Truck Thursdays at the Niagara Falls Train Station have become a popular lunchtime event among locals and tourists,” said Allen Booker, organizer and minority enterprise & business development coordinator.
“Based on customer feedback, we have added live music on selected dates, and a late-afternoon food truck event that will take place in August.”
That later event is the “Food Trucks at the Tracks Happy Hour” from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 21.
