Jamestown man arrested after disharmony in Harmony
A Jamestown man was arrested on several charges, including trespassing, Wednesday after he was involved in a physical altercation in the Town of Harmony with another person, according to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said an investigation found that, during the altercation, 27-year-old Shawn M. Battle had been trespassing on property he had no right to be on. Battle is also accused of damaging a cell phone that did not belong to him while on the property before fleeing the scene.
Battle was charged with one count each of third- and fourth-degree criminal mischief, endangering the welfare of a child, second-degree harassment, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree criminal trespass, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
