Men of St. Leonard kicked off its first meet­ing of the year Sept. 7 when lo­cal car en­thu­si­asts held a mini car show fol­low­ing the first day of school at St. Leonard El­e­men­tary School. The boys re­viewed car show eti­quette be­fore see­ing the cars, which in­cluded a 1940 Packard Rat Rod, 1951 Chevy, 1964 Chevy Nova, 2008 C6 Corvette, 2018 Corvette Z06, 2010 Corvette Grand Sport, 2012 Mus­tang Boss 302,

2013 Corvette 427 Col­lec­tor’s Edi­tion, 2014 Corvette St­ingray, and a 2018 Porsche 718 Boxster. The Men of St. Leonard is an after school pro­gram for male mi­nor­ity stu­dents at SLES, which en­cour­ages stu­dents to be proud of their her­itage and strive for ex­cel­lence and en­gage in many ac­tiv­i­ties. The club, which is al­ways look­ing or new mem­bers, is spon­sored by St Leonard El­e­men­tary School teach­ers Bar­bara Brous­sard and Jeanette Gion­friddo.
