Thefts under investigation
On Nov. 19, Deputy Edward Yates responded to the park on Dowell Road, where the complainant said sometime between 6 p.m. Nov. 16 and 8 a.m. Nov. 19 someone stole two picnic tables from the pavilion near the playground, altogether worth $1,200.
Dfc. Troy Holt responded Nov. 19 to Sagebrush Drive in Lusby, where the complainant said he received notice his Kohl’s card was mailed but he never received it. He contacted Kohl’s and was advised the card was charged at the Lexington Park store on Nov. 18 for $305.88.
Deputy Nick Buckler responded Nov. 23 to Second Street in North Beach, where the complainant said sometime between 1 p.m. Nov. 22 and 5:30 p.m. Nov. 22 someone stole his large blue trash can worth $200.
Buckler also responded Nov. 24 to Chesapeake Bounty in North Beach, where the complainant said at approximately 5:30 a.m., a woman stole a strip of garland and a Christmas tree and left the scene. The stolen property is worth $42.
