OLSS stu­dents do­nate goods to shel­ter an­i­mals

Stu­dents at Our Lady Star of the Sea School in Solomons made sure Christ­mas was en­joy­able for four-legged friends when the third-grade class re­cently dropped off do­na­tions of pet food, toys, treats and clean­ing prod­ucts at the Calvert An­i­mal Wel­fare League in Prince Fred­er­ick. The stu­dents also made cards to give to those who adopt an an­i­mal from the fa­cil­ity. The stu­dents also re­ceived a tour of the fa­cil­ity from vol­un­teer Anita Hacker and met some of the an­i­mals up for adop­tion.
