Acoustic Leann Rimes
Country music star Leann Rimes hits the Heritage Theatre stage March 13 in a concert that has her “Performing All the Hits and Favorites, Up Close and Acoustic.” The 8 p.m. show was rescheduled from Jan. 24.
At age 14 Rimes won Best New Artist, making her the youngest recipient to take home a Grammy Award. She’s racked up one more
Grammy, plus 12 Billboard Music Awards, two World Music Awards, three Academy of Country Music Awards and a Country Music Association Award. In 2017, the vocalist was honored by the Human Rights Campaign with the Ally of Equality Award for her 20-plus years of supporting equal rights.

Oldies, goodies fundraiser
The Los Gatos-saratoga chapter of the Assistance League is holding a dinner dance fundraiser 4-7 p.m. March 29, in the Orchard City Banquet Hall of the Campbell Community Center, 1 W. Campbell Ave., Campbell.
“Oldies and Goodies” will feature DJ dancing to music from the ’50s, ’60s and ’70s as well as wining and dining and a raffle. There also will be activities such as a dance contests, a bubble gum-blowing contest and music trivia. Proceeds benefit Assistance League’s programs for local schools and families.
