FEB. 11-19

Residentia­l burglary: A 29-year-old met the victim online then came to the victim’s residence in the 900 block of Lovell Avenue. The suspect then stole cellphones and other items from inside the house.

FEB. 17

Auto burglary: Between 11 p.m. Feb. 16 and 8:18 a.m. Feb. 17, someone smashed a window on a vehicle and stole items in the 400block of Shamrock Drive.

Assault: At 3:57 p.m. an 85-year-old grabbed and pulled a 79-year old during an argument in the 700 block of Jeffrey Avenue. Possession of drugs, drug parapherna­lia: At 4:16 a.m. an officer located a vehicle in the 500block of East Hamilton Avenue that had been reported stolen out of San Jose on Jan. 30. The vehicle was occupied by two suspects, one of whom was found to be on probation, had meth on his person and had an outstandin­g warrant. The suspect also swallowed about 4grams of meth before being placed in custody and was transporte­d to Valley Medical Center for treatment before being booked. The second suspect was in possession of a meth pipe.

FEB. 19

Theft: A 31-year-old woman stole a dog on Feb. 4in the 00block of West Hamilton Avenue. An officer contacted her in a vehicle with a 27-year-old man and the stolen dog. The man was under the influence of a stimulant. The dog was reunited with its owner. Shopliftin­g: At 2 p.m. a 16-year-old stole about $37 in merchandis­e in the 2300 block of South Winchester Boulevard.

Assault: At 5:40 p.m. in a dispute over landlord/tenant issues, an 86-year-old tenant slapped a 74-year-old landlord on the back during an argument in the 1700 block of West Campbell

Avenue. There were no visible injuries, but the victim requested an ambulance. Shopliftin­g: At 6 p.m. someone came into a store in the 1600block of West Campbell Avenue, selected an unknown number of clothing items and fled. Under the influence: At 1:13 a.m. a 56-year-old stopped for a vehicle code violation at Hamilton and Salmar avenues was found to be on active probation for drugs. The suspect displayed symptoms of being under the influence and was in possession of multiple credit cards belonging to other people.

FEB. 20

Hit and run: At 9:38p.m. someone collided with a vehicle in the parking lot in the 900block of West Hamilton Avenue and fled. An officer was able to locate the suspect’s vehicle and get them to admit to the hit and run.

FEB. 21

Drunk in public: At 2:30 p.m. a 41-year-old man was reported throwing items at vehicles at San Tomas Expressway and Budd Avenue. He was contacted and found to be drunk in public.

Fraud: At 5 p.m. someone used the victim’s credit card informatio­n to make unauthoriz­ed purchases in the 00 block of Superior Drive.

Under the influence: At 11:07 p.m. a 28-year-old man was stopped on his bicycle in the 2300 block of South Winchester Boulevard. The suspect is on probation and was under the influence of meth.

DUI: At 1:27a.m. a 23-yearold was stopped for a vehicle code violation at Civic Center Drive and Third Street and was found to be DUI.

FEB. 22

Attempted burglary: At 3:20 a.m. someone walked up to the front door of a business in the 2000block of South Bascom Avenue and threw a rock several times in an attempt to break the door. The assailant fled in a Honda four-door.

Under the influence: A man, 57, was reported as possibly prowling on property in the 700 block of Union Avenue, but he actually lived in a rear unit. He was found to be under the influence of a controlled substance.

Under the influence: At 6:28 p.m. a man, 39, was causing a disturbanc­e in the 2300 block of South Winchester Boulevard and was found to be under the influence of a stimulant. The suspect was in violation of his probation.

DUI: At 4:03 a.m. three suspects were stopped in a vehicle at Laura and Sharmon Palms and found to have open alcohol containers. A 17-year-old was found to be in possession of cocaine. Another suspect was too intoxicate­d to care for himself and in violation of his probation. An 18-yearold also was DUI.

FEB. 23

At 10:27 p.m. a man, 26, was causing a disturbanc­e and found to be too intoxicate­d to care for himself in the 1800block of West Hamilton Avenue.

Assaulting a police officer: At 11:15p.m. a man, 28, was contacted after someone called to report a domestic violence incident in the 1800 block of South Bascom Avenue. During the contact, the suspect attempted to reach for something inside a closet. An officer grabbed him by the wrist to prevent him from retrieving anything. The suspect slapped the officer’s arm away, then was restrained and taken into custody without further incident.

Vandalism: At 1 p.m. someone driving a black Jetta threw an item at a vehicle during a road rage argument at Hamilton and Salmar avenues, causing damage to the windshield.
