NAVY BASKETBALL: The Navy basketball teams will combine to make at least six regular season appearances on the CBS Sports Network during the 2018-19 season. Those games are part of the 18-game slate announced Wednesday by the Patriot League and the network.

The schedule of telecasts for the Mids begins the first weekend of the season when the Navy men’s team plays host to Maryland as part of the Veterans Classic doubleheader in Alumni Hall on Nov. 9. The 8:30 p.m. game between the Mids and the Terps is preceded by Providence vs. Wichita State at 6 p.m., a game that also will be televised by the CBS Sports Network.

Both Navy teams will then appear on the network as part of Army-Navy doubleheaders on Jan. 19 (at Army) and Feb. 16 (at Navy). The women’s game will tip at noon on both days and the men’s game will follow at 2:30 p.m. Completing the list of confirmed televised games for Navy is the Feb. 23 game for the men at Colgate.

NAVY WOMEN’S TENNIS: The duo of Kaylah Hodge and Ansofi Wreder are set to represent Navy at the Milwaukee Tennis Classic this week in Milwaukee, Wis., at the Western Racquet Club. The Milwaukee Tennis Classic is an ITA Gold-Level Event, where 64 women are set to compete. The singles champions of the men’s and women’s draws will earn a wild card berth into the main draw at the Oracle ITA National Fall Championships.
