Hall, Potts pace Southern win

Alexis Hall and Brianne Potts scored as Southern edged Annapolis, 2-1, on Thursday in girls soccer.

Jordan Barnhill made two saves for Southern (1-1-1). Annapolis fell to 1-3.

Ella Raines scored twice and Sam Cremmins contributed a goal and two assists as the Falcons defeated the Mustangs (1-4). Lauren Campbell had a goal and an assist, Leah Myers and Bella Espinoza scored a goal apiece and Toni Fiocco-Mizer, Lauryn Vincent and Sofia Espinoza each picked up an assist for Severna Park (5-1).

SEVERNA PARK 6, MEADE 0:

Sarah Morgan found the back of the net twice and notched an assist in the Gophers' victory over North County (1-3). Christyana Sims scored once and picked up two assists, Kasey Walker had a goal and an assist, Diana Philpot scored once, Alyssa Begunich recorded two assists, Ally Hall picked up one assist and Brooke McCormick made six saves for Glen Burnie (4-1).

Kaelyn Mole and Leah Ball scored for the Scots.
