Woman dies in Friday night dwelling fire

A woman died Friday night at the scene of a dwelling fire in the 3100 block of Aspen Court in Lansdowne, according to a Baltimore County fire official.

County Fire Director Tim Rostkowski said firefighters responding to the scene around 10:45 p.m. found an elderly woman on the first floor of the two-story dwelling. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Her identity was not released.

Rostkowski said two firefighters suffered minor injuries during the response.
