What’s open, what’s closed in county for Veterans Day holiday

Veterans Day is Sunday, but many businesses and services in Annapolis and Anne Arundel County will be closed or canceled in observance of the holiday Monday.

Government: City, county and federal offices closed Courts: Closed

Public schools: Open

Libraries: Open

Trash: Normal pickup Monday; landfill and recycling centers closed

Annapolis Transit: Sunday schedule

Public transportation: Yellow and Gold Routes, South County Circulator and Zonal Services will not operate

MTA buses: Regular weekday schedule

Light rail: Regular weekday schedule

MTA commuter buses: No service Monday, except Route 201, which will operate on a weekend/holiday schedule

MARC: Penn, Camden and Brunswick line trains will operate on “R” weekday schedule

Banks: Closed

Post office: No regular delivery

MVA and VEIP stations: Closed
