Hilary Laytham Vice

-

It is with great sadness that the family of Hilary Dawson Laytham Vice of Annapolis announces her passing on November 4, 2018, at the age of 52 years. Hilary will forever be remembered by those who adored her: her husband and the love of her life Steve, her precious daughters Julia and Olivia, her parents Janet and John (Ginger), her brother Gibb (Eliana), and many other loving family members and dear friends.

A native of Arlington, VA, Hilary graduated from H-B Woodlawn High School and received a BA in history from the University of Virginia. She went on to receive an MBA focused in Marketing and Health Services Management from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management. She began her marketing career with Johnson & Johnson in 2000 as a Product Director and was working for the company as an Executive Sales Specialist at her passing.

Hilary had a keen eye and love of photography with a talent for capturing nuance and detail. She had a strong and wide-ranging appreciation for art and music, was a voracious reader, and loved to dance.

Hilary’s passions were her family and friends. She had a gift for empathy and kindness in reaching out to others in times of need. Her spirit and warmth will be dearly missed. The world feels a lonelier place without Hilary watching out for us.

A funeral service will be held at Saint Martin’s Lutheran Church, 1120 Spa Road, Annapolis, Maryland 21403 on Saturday, November 17th at 11:00 am. Please join the family to celebrate Hilary’s life in the adjoining Fellowship Hall immediately following the service.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Lung Cancer Research Foundation at http://www.lungcancerresearchfoundation.org/support-us/givein-tribute.
