Es­ther V. Hut­z­ley

Es­ther Vir­ginia Hut­z­ley (née Ford) passed away peace­fully on Au­gust 29, 2018 at the age of 101. She was a life-long res­i­dent of Anne Arun­del County and resided in Glen Burnie Health and Re­ha­bil­i­ta­tion for the last four years of her life.

Es­ther was the daugh­ter of Eliz­a­beth (Brown­ley) Ford and Harry Ford of Bal­ti­more, both dec. and was pre­ceded in death by broth­ers James Ford of Bal­ti­more and Ed­ward Ford of Florida.

She was mar­ried in 1936 to Fred­er­ick Grant Hut­z­ley Sr. who passed away in 1978. She is sur­vived by her chil­dren, Glo­ria Jean and Fred­er­ick G. Hut­z­ley, Jr. and daugh­ter-in-law, Carol J. , as well as grand­chil­dren, Christo­pher, Brad­ford and Cara and grand­son-in-law, John Gard­ner.

Es­ther was a long-time busi­ness woman and owner of her hair sa­lon in Glen Burnie and a tal­ented artist in nu­mer­ous medi­ums. She lived a very ful­fill­ing life and en­joyed world travel and many so­cial ac­tiv­i­ties with friends. She was a mem­ber of the Glen Burnie chap­ter of the Eastern Star for many years.

Her fam­ily and friends will gather to cel­e­brate her life on De­cem­ber 1, 2018 at the White­hurst Club­house, 360 White Cedar Lane in Sev­erna Park at 2:00 pm.
