BWI Busi­ness Part­ner­ship names new ex­ec­u­tive di­rec­tor

The BWI Busi­ness Part­ner­ship board of di­rec­tors ap­pointed Gina Ste­wart as the group’s new ex­ec­u­tive di­rec­tor.

Ste­wart has 25 years of busi­ness and eco­nomic and de­vel­op­ment ex­pe­ri­ence. She pre­vi­ously worked as the se­nior busi­ness de­vel­op­ment rep­re­sen­ta­tive for the Mary­land De­part­ment of Com­merce, ac­cord­ing to a news re­lease.

She re­places re­tired Col. Ed­ward Roth­stein, who was serv­ing as in­terim di­rec­tor.

The part­ner­ship is an or­ga­ni­za­tion of lo­cal and re­gional busi­nesses and govern­ment agen­cies ad­vo­cat­ing for strong trans­porta­tion pol­icy and ini­tia­tives, driv­ing sus­tain­able eco­nomic and work­force de­vel­op­ment, and fa­cil­i­tat­ing mean­ing­ful strate­gic re­la­tion­ships ger­mane to the growth and de­vel­op­ment of the BWI re­gion, ac­cord­ing to the part­ner­ship’s web­site.
