Cole Randolph won the 50-yard freestyle and the 100 breast stroke and Patrick Hayburn captured both the 200 individual medley and the 500 freestyle to pace the St. Mary’s swim team to a 58-36 victory over Beth Tfiloh on Thursday.

Sean Streyle placed first in the 100 freestyle and second in the 200 IM, while Gavin Ridgeway took second place in the 100 butterfly.

Boys Basketball

AACS 56, LOYOLA 53(OT): Dylin Borden lead the way with 15 points and four assists and Ray Ritter had 13 points and 11 rebounds in the Eagles’ win on Wednesday. Aaron Celcis had a steal and drove the length of the court late in regulation to help force overtime.

ARUNDEL 61, BETH TFILOH 51: Tyson Brooks had 17 points, 10 rebounds and five blocks, while Ian Hogan totaled 12 points, to lead the Wildcats over the Warriors.

ROCKBRIDGE ACADEMY 44, FCA 12: Ben Ault led the Scots with 12 points and 10 rebounds, Tim Tatterson had 11 points and six steals and Luke Sweeney added four points and a 10 rebounds in Wednesday’s win.

Girls Basketball

FREDERICK DOUGLASS 63, SOUTHERN 32: Myranda Hopkins led the Bulldogs with 12 points and four rebounds in Wednesday’s loss. Ruth Marshall added six points and three rebounds and Gianna Kronk chipped in with seven points for Southern.

ST. TIMOTHY’S 41, SEVERN 23: Morgan Skinner scored 12 points, but the Admirals fell on Wednesday.

Wrestling

OAKLAND MILLS 49, BROADNECK 19: Cayden Groah (120 pounds) and Vinny Facciponti (195) worked falls, while Nick Schardt (138) scored a major decision and Mike Garlington (145) earned a 7-3 decision for the Bruins.

OLD MILL 49, SEVERNA 24: Old Mill’s wrestlers breezed through the first 10 bouts of Thursday night’s match with host Severna Park, losing only by forfeit in two early bouts, to notch a 49-24 .

Leading the early dominance by Old Mill were first-period pins by Trinity Killup at 106 (15 seconds), Damion Mansapit at 132 (30 seconds) and Colby Smith at 160 (20 seconds). Other pins during that stretch were recorded by Malik Right at 126 and Caron Tull at 145.

MEADE 57, PALLOTTI 24: Enrique Coronado ran his record to 12-1 at 195 with an overtime decision for the Mustangs.

Volleyball

CORRECTION: Sydney Heatley of St. Mary’s was omitted from the Capital Gazette All-County Team. Heatley, a senior setter, was Second Team All-County.
