Ennals, Youngbar pace North County

Alicia Ennals produced 15 points and 11 rebounds and Morgan Youngbar added 14 points and 10 rebounds to lead the North County girls basketball team to a 47-30 victory over Glen Burnie on Friday.

Brandi Shaffer chipped in with seven points and seven rebounds for North County (3-7).

Corinne Castle had 16 points and seven rebounds to lead the Cougars past the Mustangs. Morgan Gray followed with 14 points and 12 reboundsfo­r Chesapeake (9-2).

Destiny Jackson scored 14 points and Briel Owens added 10 for Meade (6-5).

CHESAPEAKE 56, MEADE 43:

Ashlynn Burrows scored nine points, grabbed eight rebounds and had five steals for the Seahawks. Harley Herndon added seven points, 10 rebounds, six assists and five steals for South River (9-1).

SOUTH RIVER 37, SOUTHERN 18:

Nikki Seven netted eight points, five rebounds, four assists and two steals, while Ayannah Matthews added seven points, 13 rebounds and three steals for the Wildcats (8-4).

Elizabeth Gilman scored 11 points and Angel Colbert added eight points for Annapolis (3-7).

Sydney Faulcon tallied 23 points and 15 rebounds and Jada Johnson chipped in with 12 points as the Patriots defeated the Eagles.

Iliana Chase contribute­d nine points for Old Mill (9-1).

Divine Carter-Benson scored nine points and Allyson Wills had eight points for Northeast (6-5).

AACS 42, SEVERN 30: Morgan Debeary scored 16 points to go with seven rebounds and three assists, while Reniyah Ross added 16 points to lead the Eagles over the Admirals. Ani Gadson provided seven assists, seven rebounds and five steals for AACS (8-7).

Morgan Skinner scored a game-high 20 points for Severn (1-12).

ARUNDEL 47, ANNAPOLIS 37: OLD MILL 75, NORTHEAST 36: INDIAN CREEK 40, BRYN MAWR 35:

Megan Bunker scored 19 points and Maddy Evans scored 10 points to lead the Eagles (9-3) past the Mawrtians.

ROCKBRIDGE ACADEMY 43, ROSEDALE BAPTIST 28:

Alanna Craig had 18 points and 18 rebounds and Emma Williams added 13 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Scots.

Boys basketball ST. PAUL’S 57, ST. MARY’S 45:

Patrick Devitt poured in 15 points, Jacob Aryee added 14 points and Garrett Nilsen chipped in seven points, six assists and four rebounds for the Saints (4-9).

Mazhi Thames led the Mustangs to their eighth consecutiv­e victory by scoring 25 points and dishing out six assists Tre Dunn chipped in with 21 points and TJ Speight had 13 points for the Mustangs (10-2, 5-1 county league).

Alonzo Wilkes produced 12 points, 12 rebounds and six blocks, Russell Tongue chipped in 13 points with five rebounds and three steals and Kareem Francis added 11 points and eight rebounds for the Cougars (5-7).

MEADE 79, CHESAPEAKE 48: GLEN BURNIE 62, NORTH COUNTY 51:

Braeden Cavey had 20 points and six rebounds and Mekhi Simmons added 15 points and 14 rebounds in the win for the Gophers (8-3).

Omeech Wilson had 18 points, 11 rebounds and two blocks for North County (1-10). Shawn Lilly added 16 points and six rebounds.

BROADNECK 38, SEVERNA PARK 35:

Logan Vican poured in 16 points with eight rebounds and five blocks, Nick Gatton had 10 rebounds and five points and Mike Cantrell chipped in 10 points and three steals for the Bruins (10-2).

Colin Wolfe paced the Falcons (2-8) with 12 points and Jordan Hallet added eight points.

A.J. Burch scored 20 points and Mo Terry added 19, but the Admirals fell on the road on Thursday.

ST. JOHN’S-CP 57, SEVERN 54: Wrestling NORTHEAST 60, RESERVOIR 24:

Owen Schmidt (126), Jayden Mason (145) and Joshua Arnold (170) each recorded pins and the Eagles benefited from seven forfeits in Thursday’s win.

Jack Chadwick (113), Carson Gotimer (182) and Conner Bowes (220) each won by fall in the Falcons’ narrow loss on Thursday. Tyler Daniels (120) and Colin Shadowens (138) recorded decisions for Severna Park.
