Nikolaos (Nick) J. Moraytis, 80, of Epping Forest, Annapolis passed away peacefully on January 2, 2019 with his family by his side. Nick was born in Pittsburgh, PA, the son of John and Mary Andriotis Moraytis. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Frances; son John Moraytis, (Shannon) of Manhattan Beach, CA; daughter, Jennifer Driscoll (Mark) of Crofton, MD; brother Louis Moraytis (Patricia) of Pittsburgh, PA; two grandsons, Nikolaos Driscoll and Jay Moraytis; and two nieces,Catherine Ulicny (Mark) of Clarksburg, MD and Annamarie Wyland (Joshua) of Washington, PA.

Nick was a graduate of Swissvale High School, Pittsburgh, PA and Allegheny College, Meadville, PA. He had a long career as an IT Systems Specialist both in New Jersey where he lived for many years and in Washington, DC where he retired as a Vice President with Riggs National Bank. He served his country in the US Navy on active duty and in the Reserves for over 20 years. He was a fervent Philadelph­ia Flyers, Pittsburgh Steelers, Pittsburgh Pirates and Naval Academy sports fan. He was also a proud volunteer at the US Naval Academy Museum.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, January 26, 2019 at the Philip Merrill Environmen­tal Center, 6 Herndon Avenue, Annapolis, MD, 21403.
