Maryland at the age of 77 on January 8th, 2019.

Harold graduated from Bladensbur­g High School in Bladensbur­g, Maryland, received formal education at the University of Maryland and continued his studies at Grantham Electronic­s School, obtaining a degree in Electrical Engineerin­g.

Harold was an avid sports fan, dedicating time to the Lanham Boys and Girls Clubs as well as the Eleanor Roosevelt High School Football team and Girls Softball team in Greenbelt, Maryland.

He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Olivia (Libby), his sons Richard (Jamie Cunningham Sapanara), Sandy (Paula), Daniel (Michelle), Andrew (Andrea), his daughter Amber and his stepson Stephen Mattingly. Harold will also be fondly remembered by his 9 grandchild­ren, one great-grandchild, his sister Betsy (Charles) Chreitzber­g, his nieces, nephews and extended family and dear friends. He is predecease­d by his parents Ertle and Katherine (Tolar) Williamson and his sister Joanne Parker.

A celebratio­n of Harold’s life will be held at 2pm on Saturday, January 19th at the Lasting Tributes Funeral Home on Bestgate Road in Annapolis, Maryland. Immediatel­y following the service, there will be a reception until 5pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations in Harold’s name be made to Hospice of the Chesapeake Foundation, 90 Ritchie Highway, Pasadena, MD 21122.
