Quarterbac­k Bryce Perkins put up 475 yards of offense and had three total TDs, Brian Delaney kicked a go-ahead 48-yard field with 1:23 to play and Virginia added a key defensive score, beating Virginia Tech 39-30 in Charlottes­ville, Va.

The Cavaliers ended a 15-game losing streak in the rivalry and earned their first trip to the Atlantic Coast Conference championsh­ip game as the Coastal Division champion.

Virginia (9-3, 6-2) will face No. 3 and defending national champion Clemson in the league title game Dec. 7 in Charlotte, N.C.

The Hokies, No. 24 in the College Football Playoff rankings, fell to 8-4, 5-3.

■ Brady White threw for 233 yards and a pair of TDs and No. 18 and host Memphis beat No. 19 Cincinnati 34-24 for the Tigers’ third straight American Athletic Conference West title and the right to host the league championsh­ip — and the Bearcats again — next week. Memphis improved to 11-1, 7-1, while Cincinnati fell to 10-2, 7-1 with its first loss since Sept. 7 against current No. 1 Ohio State . ... QB Jaylon Henderson had three total TDs to lead No. 20 Boise State past host Colorado State 31-24. The Broncos (11-1, 8-0) finished unbeaten in the Mountain West Conference for the first time and will host Hawaii next week in the league title game . ... Keith Duncan kicked a 48-yard FG with a second left to lift No. 17 Iowa past host Nebraska 27-24.

Isaiah Livers scored 21 points to lead Michigan over No. 8 Gonzaga 82-64 to win the Battle 4 Atlantis in Paradise Island, Bahamas. Jon Teske added 19 points and 15 rebounds for the Wolverines (7-0), who beat No. 6 UNC in the semifinals. The Tar Heels edged No. 11 Oregon 78-74 in the third-place game . ... All-American senior G Markus Howard scored 51 points to help Marquette rout Southern California 101-79 and advance to the Orlando Invitation­al championsh­ip game. It was the third career game of 50 points or more for Howard, who set a tournament record for the second straight game. The Golden Eagles (5-1) will face No. 5 Maryland in Sunday’s tournament final.

Former world No. 1 Jason Day of Australia withdrew from the Presidents Cup because of a back injury. Internatio­nal team captain Ernie Els replaced him with Byeong Hun An of South Korea. The Presidents Cup takes place Dec. 12-15 matches at Royal Melbourne in Australia . ... Pablo Larrazabal of Spain shot a 3-under 69 to take a three-stroke lead over two players midway through the Alfred Dunhill Championsh­ip in Malelane, South Africa. Larrazabal reached 9-under 261 at the European Tour’s season-opening event.
