Grammy Awards shifting toMarch
The 2021 Grammy Awards will no longer take place this month inLos Angeles and will broadcast inMarch due to a recent surge in coronavirus cases and deaths.
TheRecordingAcademy saidTuesday that the annual showwould shift fromits original Jan. 31 broadcast to a later date in March.
The Grammys are scheduled to be held in Los Angeles at the Staples Center. Los Angeles County, the epicenter of the crisis inCalifornia, has surpassed 10,000COVID19 deaths and has had40% of the deaths in California.
“TheDaily Show” host and comedianTrevor Noah is set to host the 2021 Grammys, where Beyoncé is leading contender with nine nominations. Taylor Swift, DuaLipa, Roddy Ricch, JhenéAiko, Post Malone, Renée Zellweger, Billie Eilish and her producer- brother Finneas also scored nominations.

Over four episodes, co- hosts Brooke Siffrinn and Aricia SkidmoreWilliams take a deep dive into Hilton’s empire and “howthis hotel heiress turned a provocative moment into superstardomand howParis built her persona brick by brick.” The first episode, which launchedTuesday, chroniclesHilton’s early days in the spotlight before “The Simple Life.”
Explainingwhy the podcast— which has chronicled theVersace family, theKennedys, the Murdochs, and Beyoncé and Jay- Z— focused on Hilton, Skidmore- Williams said, “There’s somuch more to her than what the 2000s mediawould have us believe— she’s been through a lot. Paris is quite the savvy businesswoman. She used her knowledge and experience to curate the brand shewanted for herself.”
Though Hilton is not involved in telling her story, the show’s hosts feel confident that themedia mavenwill approve of their take.

Not 24hours after Hipgnosis Songs announced that it had acquired Jimmy Iovine’s production catalog, it announcedTuesday that it has acquired the music publishing rights of LindseyBuckingham, best knownfor hisworkwith FleetwoodMac.
Along with the25% share it acquired in
September, Hipgnosis nowowns 100% ofBuckingham’s music publishing rights, including his publishing andwriter’s share, of his entire catalog, comprising 161 songs, aswell as a 50% share of any unreleased compositions, according to the announcement.
Along with his solo work and an album with longtime partner Stevie Nicks, Buckingham’s catalog includes credits on FleetwoodMac’s albums “Rumours,” “Tusk” and “Tango in theNight.”
