“I grewup inAustria. I’m very aware of Kristallnacht, or theNight of Broken Glass. Itwas a night of rampage against the Jews carried out in 1938 by theNazi equivalent of the Proud Boys,”
Schwarzenegger said. “Wednesdaywas theDay of Broken Glass right here in theUnited States. The broken glasswas in the windows of theUnited States Capitol. But themob did not just shatter the windows of the Capitol. They shattered the ideas we took for granted.”
Schwarzenegger said that his experience growing up inEurope has shownhim “firsthand howthings can spin out of control.” He then denouncedTrump, saying that he “sought a coup by misleading people with lies.”
