Anthony Zavosky

Anthony Zavosky of Edgewater, MD passed away on April 26th after a hard-fought battle with cancer. Originally from Jeannette, PA, he retired as a Detective from the Metropolitan Police Department in 1998. He will be greatly missed by his wife Linda Nischan, his sons Stephen (Caitlyn), Andrew (Mandy), and Michael and his granddaughter Sadie, in addition to his father, siblings, and numerous other friends and family. There will be a Celebration of Life service to honor Tony’s life on May 15, 2021 from 4pm to 8pm at the American Legion Post 226, 830 Mayo Road, Edgewater, Maryland. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Tunnel to Towers, a charity dedicated to first responders, or Reach Out Rescue, a local animal rescue.
