Goddard School lease Shopping center sold

Goddard School franchise owner Dipti Singh has leased 13,560 square feet of space from St. John Properties Inc. at the Annapolis Technology Park, a 29-acre mixed-use project near Annapolis.

Singh, who also operates two additional franchise locations in Anne Arundel County as well as two in Georgia, is set to open an initial 7,800 square foot school in October and will expand by 5,760 square feet as the adjacent space becomes available. The technology park is located at the intersecti­on of Riva Road and Harry S Truman Parkway.

The Goddard School, a national franchise that combines child daycare services with preschool educationa­l programs, operates more than 525 schools in nearly 40 states and serves more than 70,000 students ranging from six weeks to 6 years old.

Halle Cos. has sold the Seven Oaks Shopping Center and Offices in Odenton to a New Jersey company.

The 106,000 square foot center sold for $15.8 million, according to Avison Young, brokers for the sale.

Located at 2288 Blue Water Drive just outside Fort George G. Meade, the property includes 48,000 square feet of office space along with 58,500 square feet of in-line retail.
