Here’s a roundup of high school varsity action from Friday.

Boys basketball

Severn 58, Annapolis Area Christian 48:

Kingston Price scored a game-high 30 points to lead the host Admirals (8-4, 6-3 Maryland Interschol­astic Athletic Associatio­n B Conference) over the Eagles (2-16, 1-9).

Glen Burnie 71, Crofton 46:

John Mallory scored 15 points and Eric Daniels had 12 points and 10 rebounds to lead the visiting Gophers (7-4) past the Cardinals. Glen Burnie’s Greg Pittman had 12 points and Bryce Blair had 11 points. The victory was the fourth in a row. Layth Carpenter led Crofton with 12 points.

Meade 67, Northeast 60:

Shawn Jones anchored his Mustangs (10-1, 4-0) at the rim and foul line for 21 points alongside nine rebounds and two blocks. Kyree Scott and Xavion Roberson each netted 18 points, both with two 3-pointers apiece. Roberson added seven assists and Scott seven boards.

Archbishop Spalding 62, Glenelg Country 61: The visiting Cavaliers (8-8, 2-1 MIAA A Conference Red Division) beat the Dragons (5-10, 2-5). The victory was their third straight. Spalding was led by three players with 12 points each: Johnny Farley, Terrence Moultrie Jr. and Malik Washington.

South River 82, Annapolis 53:

The visiting Seahawks beat the Panthers led by Cash Herndon (21 points), Blake Burrows (19 points), Trashaun Timmons (18 points) and Jack Schrader (13 points).

Southern 56, North County 39: Brian Griffin scored 15 points and Tim Day had 10 points to lead the host Bulldogs over the Knights. Jeremy Scanlan had 12 points for North County.

Arundel 82, Chesapeake 66: Four Wildcats scored double-figures: Noah Frayer amassed 27 points, followed by Samson Anjorin with 12, Ryan Alston with 11 and Aqeel Sana with 10.

Broadneck 52, Chesapeake Science Point 30: Amare Jefferies had 18 points and Jordan Brown had 12 points to lead the visiting

Girls basketball

South River 51, Annapolis 36:

Ryleigh Adams had 19 points and 11 rebounds to lead the visiting Seahawks (6-1) over the Panthers (4-3). Kiki Scott had 13 points for Annapolis.

Southern 66, North County 30:

Ava Wooster led all scores with 33 points to go with 12 rebounds and nine steals. Jordan

Wheeler added 13 points and eight rebounds.

Chesapeake 44, Arundel 35: Ava Arruda scored 11 points and Natalie Forman had 10 points and 10 rebounds to lead the visiting Cougars (11-2) past the Wildcats. Kasey Slade had nine points and eight rebounds and Ella Shannon had nine points for Chesapeake. Jessica Gotshall had 15 points for Arundel.

Severna Park 44, Old Mill 43: The Falcons (9-3) were led by Abby Kavanagh, who had 10 points and six rebounds, as well as Maria Bragg (nine points, five rebounds), Hanna Verreault (eight points, five rebounds) and Sally Trent (seven points, five rebounds).

Severn 104, St. Mary’s 61:

Admirals’ Ben Keith won the 500 freestyle and the 100 butterfly; Court Barrett won the 200 individual medley and the 100 backstroke; Hayden Gargaglian­o won the 50 freestyle and Harlen Erskine won the 100 freestyle.

Girls swimming

Severn splits: The Admirals beat St. Mary’s, 57-37, but fell, 64-30, to Maryvale. Severn’s Kenzie Getz won both the 50 freestyle and the 100 freestyle and Aliza Monaldo won the 500 freestyle.
