Cue the Al Jarreau! Cybill Shepherd hive, rise! Bruce Willis-zens rejoice! Moonlighters, make yourselves known.

The popular ’80s ABC dramedy series “Moonlighting” is finally making its streaming debut Oct. 10 on Hulu.

The program, which premiered in 1985, starred seasoned actor Shepherd and up-and-comer Willis. For his breakout role in the show, the actor nabbed a Primetime Emmy for lead actor in a drama series in 1987.

“Moonlighting” ran for five seasons, from 1985-89, and garnered 41 Primetime Emmy Awards nominations, winning six.

The series is centered on Maddie Hayes (Shepherd), a former fashion model who loses all her money to an embezzling investment adviser. He did leave her with some failing businesses, one of which is a detective agency that she names Blue Moon. She initially contemplates selling the business to get some of her money back but decides to keep it after being quickly charmed by the agency’s employees. She also finds the agency’s cases intriguing.

All episodes of the program will be available in remastered HD quality.

Chrisleys have new show in works:

While reality stars Todd and Julie Chrisley are serving time in federal prison, their loved ones and “Chrisley Knows Best” co-stars will star in a new series. Children Chase, Savannah, Grayson, Chloe and Todd’s mother, Faye, will be the subjects of a new reality series, Scout Productions announced recently.

The series, which has yet to find a broadcaster, is set to follow the Chrisley kids and “Nanny” Faye in the “pivotal next chapter” of their lives without Todd and Julie, who were convicted on federal charges including tax evasion and bank fraud in June 2022. The husband and wife were sentenced to a combined 19-year sentence in federal prison.

The project will mark the family’s return to TV after USA Network canceled “Chrisley Knows Best” and spinoff “Growing Up Chrisley” amid the family’s legal woes.

‘Super Why!’ gets reboot:

PBS Kids has set the official broadcast premiere date for “Super Why’s Comic Book Adventures.” The new series of animated musical shorts starring Super Why and his fellow literacy-powered superheroes will hit PBS affiliates Oct. 18 and stream on the PBS Kids app.

Adventures” aims to help strengthen the literacy skills of its preschool and kindergarten viewers. The new 2D animated 3-minute shorts will also harness the power of music for its cause.

Joining comic book lover Super Why in these new adventures in Reader Valley will be familiar faces including Wonder Red and Princess Pesto from the original series, as well as a new Super Reader named Power Paige.
