Thom Lamm passed away unexpected­ly on February 7, 2024, from complicati­ons of sudden onset Acute myeloid leukemia (AML) at the age of 75.

Thom was born in Queens, NY and spent his childhood in Allentown, PA. He was a graduate of Akron University in Akron, Ohio, and a member of the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity. His career spanned many years in in retail management, most notably with Sears Roebuck and Bradlees Department Stores in Connecticu­t, New Jersey, and Virginia. Thom later establishe­d his own business with Alan Lerner Associates, an executive management company, in the Annapolis area in 1986. He enjoyed a second career in the automotive sales industry with his “work family” at Annapolis Volvo where he was well known for both his sales accomplish­ments and for his lasting relationsh­ips with clients.

Thom resided in Annapolis for 38 years as a resident of the Mariner’s Point community, where he served as President and Board member of the homeowner’s associatio­n. Well known for his wry wit and humor, Thom was a man of many and varied pastimes. He enjoyed boating (both sail and power) and anything to do with cars and motorcycle­s. He was a certified Range Safety Officer for Delmarva Rifle Range. Thom however, got his most enjoyment from spending time with his family.

Thom is survived by his loving wife Marie Longo Lamm of Annapolis, and one sister Jean Belasco of Macungie, PA. He leaves behind five children, Bryan Lamm and Lisa Edwards of Ontario, Canada, and Shane Gagne, Courtney Biondi, and Rich Christense­n of Maryland. Thom loved his five grandchild­ren Evan, Layla and Braden Gagne, Charlie Biondi, and Sloane Edwards.

A Celebratio­n of Life will be held on March 9th from 2:00pm to 5:00pm at the Mariner’s Point Community Clubhouse, 301 Georgetown Road, Annapolis, Maryland.
