Rosters have been released for the 33rd annual Anne Arundel County Senior All-Star Classic, presented by M.B.G. Refuse — a Gunther company. This year’s event will be held Wednesday, March 20 at Severna Park High with the girls game beginning at 5:30 p.m. and the boys contest to follow at approximately 7:30.

Returning as lead sponsor of the event is M.B.G Refuse, a family-owned and operated solid waste and recycling hauler located in Harmans and servicing the Maryland area with 50 garbage trucks.

The 2023 Senior All-Star Classic will feature 52 of the top senior basketball players in Anne Arundel

County with the boys and girls games being played in a North-vs.-South format.

Longtime local announcer Wiley Baker will broadcast both games through the National Federation of High School Sports platform. Fans can watch the games by logging onto www.nfhsnetwork. com.

All players participating in the Anne Arundel County Senior All-Star Classic must attend a mandatory practice on Sunday, March 17 at the Annapolis Boys and Girls Club complex located at 121 South Villa Avenue.

South boys and girls will practice from 1 to 2:30 p.m., while the North boys and girls will practice from 2:30 to 4 p.m.

South boys and girls have been designated as the home team and will wear their white uniforms. North boys and girls are the visiting team and will wear dark uniforms.

All proceeds from the Senior All-Star Classic benefit the Boys and Girls Clubs of Annapolis and Anne Arundel County, a non-profit organization that serves underprivileged youth. Cost to attend the basketball doubleheader is $5.
