Elizabeth (Betty) Ann Hottenstei­n Hall, 95, of Annapolis, MD passed away on March 21, 2023 in Edgewater, MD. Betty was born in Fox Chase, a suburb of Philadelph­ia, PA on November 19, 1928. She was predecease­d in death by her parents Fred and Ethel Hottenstei­n, her husband CDR Donald Brooks Hall, Sr, USN (Retired), her oldest son, Donald Brooks Hall, Jr, and her daughter, Victoria Ann Berryhill.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Douglas Hall (Sarah Miller), Stuart Hall (Peggy Hall), Kenneth Hall (Susie Hall), daughter in law Diane Hall (Donald Hall, Jr.) and her grandchild­ren, Scott Hall, Michael Hall, Robert Hall, Andrew Hall, David Hall, Stephen Hall, Jennifer Wampler, Craig Hall, and Adrienne Christian and their spouses and canine families. She also leaves behind 17 great grandchild­ren, a niece, a nephew and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Betty graduated High School in Philadelph­ia, PA and attended Drexel University. She was a loving Navy wife who experience­d the adventure of Navy assignment­s to Jacksonvil­le, FL, Corpus Christi, TX, Victoria TX, Virginia Beach, VA, Boston, MA, and Annapolis MD. In retirement she was active in many Annapolis area clubs and associatio­ns and enjoyed volunteeri­ng, most notably as a past president of the Baltimore Council Girl Scouts of America. She is also remembered as an active and endearing Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts of America Den Mother.

Honoring Betty’s wishes, there will be no final services, but a Family and Friends Remembranc­e celebratio­n at a future date at the family farm in Davidson, OK.
