Anne Arundel County Animal Care and Control

-

Help an animal find their forever home! The SPCA of Anne Arundel County is located at 1815 Bay Ridge Ave. in Annapolis. The shelter’s Dog Room and Cat Room are open for walk-through visits from the public during the hours of 11am to 4pm with later viewing on Wednesdays from 12pm to 7pm. Our shelter is closed to the public on Mondays. Please view our full list of Adoptable Animals on our website where you can view each animal’s profile and their location to ensure they are in the Dog Room or Cat Room before you visit. Meet & Greet appointments are scheduled by invitation only after your application has been submitted and processed. Applications are submitted online through our website. Many other small animals and several cats can be seen at Paws at the Mall located in the Annapolis Mall (also closed on Mondays)!

Raisinets is a lovely kitten. She enjoys playing and exploring but she also likes attention and can be quite affectionate. She can be a bit shy at first but warms up quickly and will be ready to show you her wild side. If you are looking for a fun and entertaining new family member, apply today!

Bunny is a beautiful young cat who came to the SPCA with a litter of kittens. We are still getting to know her, but so far she seems like a very sweet and social kitty! Bunny is eager for attention and will wait at the door to greet you. She’s ready to hop into your home and your heart.

Meet Maggie! This senior sweetheart is looking for a forever home. While the SPCA does not condone declawing, sometimes cats arrive already declawed, and Maggie is one of those cases. She is a social and friendly girl with people, but would prefer to be the only pet in the home. If you are looking for a laid back new love in your life, please consider Maggie!

Gami is a cute little cat. She found herself homeless and is hoping to find a new forever family. Gami likes to be petted and brushed and she will be an excellent best friend. Like all of our adoptable cats, Gami has already been spayed and microchipped and is up to date on all her vaccines. Stop by and see her in the cat room today!
