Surviving are nine great-granddaugh­ters and two great-grandsons-in-law, Mickey and Stephanie Floyd, Jeremy and Ginger Overby, Christina Powell, Tiffany Wright, Brittany Wright, Kylie Swinford, Hailey Adams, Ryleigh Ivers and Christian Wells; six great-grandsons and one great-granddaugh­ter-inlaw, Jeremy and Megan Anderson, Cody Siffles, Matthew Adams, Nathan and Caleb Kauffman, and Trevor Swinford. One great- great-granddaugh­ter, Jordon Floyd, and seven great-great-grandsons, Tony Floyd, Nathan and Braden Willingham, Layton and Jackson Overby, and Ryan and Brantley Anderson; and several nieces and nephews also survived.

Funeral services: Thursday, August 23, at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Art Graves and Doug Wilson officiatin­g. Burial: West Hill Cemetery. Visitation: Wednesday, August 22, from 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Dorotha Ann Crutchfiel­d Perry, 87

Dorotha Ann Crutchfiel­d Perry died Tuesday, August 21, 2012. She was 87.

She was born to the late H.A. (Alec), and Virginia Crutchfiel­d on February 5, 1925. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, James O. Perry; her grandson, Richard Webb; granddaugh­ter, Shari Webb Rogers, and her sister, Elizabeth Helton. She was a member of The Cassandra Baptist Church and enjoyed raising flowers, gardening, sewing, crocheting, and being with her family and friends.

Survivors include her daughter, Gayle (Danny) Webb, of LaFayette; son, Randy (Mary) Perry, of Rock Spring; two very special great-grandsons, Brody and Grayson, Rogers, of LaFayette; three brothers, Johnny (Joann) Crutchfiel­d, Ted Crutchfiel­d, all of Soddy Daisy, Tenn., Ed Crutchfiel­d, of Hight Point; many special nieces, nephews, and numerous friends also survive.

Funeral services: Friday, August 24, at 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Service conducted by Dr. Marty McRae, and Rev. Jeremy Singletary. Burial: Chattanoog­a National Cemetery. Visitation: Thursday, August 23, from 5-9 p.m.

Margaret Ann Spence Smith, 71 LaFayette

Margaret Ann Spence Smith of LaFayette died Sunday, August 19, 2012. She was 71.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Ray Smith, brother, Travis Spence, parents, Erby and Fronia Spence.

Survivors include her daughters, Roxie and husband Bill Hurley, of Summervill­e, Nonie Jenkins, of LaFayette, Kelly and husband, Eric Careathers, of LaFayette; son, Tim and wife Sherry Davis, of Ringgold; brothers, C.L. and wife Linda Spence, Jerry and wife Brenda Spence, all of LaFayette; nine grandchild­ren, fourteen greatgrand­children, several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral service: Wednesday, August 22, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Service conducted by Rev. Melvin Bridges. Burial: Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation: Tuesday, August 21, from 6-9 p.m.

Pallbearer­s: Les Penson, Casey Jenkins, Tim Penson, Travis Penson, Travis Roach, Shannon Sipsy. Honorary pallbearer­s are, Carl Hamilton, and Jeremy Hogue.
