Lillian Maebelle Nunn Wallin, 74 LaFayette Debbie Lee Brown, 56 LaFayette Chad Parker Cook, 32 LaFayette

of Post Oak Baptist Church. He retired from the United States Army after 21 years of service. He served in Vietnam and numerous stations around the world. He received many awards and citiations during his career in the Army.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Sue Arp; daughters, Michelle (Chris) Welch, Melanie Keith, Christina (Aaron) Grissom; granddaugh­ters, Brittany Pickett, Destiny Motley, Allie, Lanie, and Camie Keith, and Kiersten Grissom.

Funeral services: Tuesday, Sept. 24 at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Ralph Long officiatin­g. Burial: Chattanoog­a National Cemetery. Visitation: Monday, Sept. 23 from 1-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Lillian Maebelle Nunn Wallin of LaFayette died Thursday, Sept. 19, 2013. She was 74.

Preceded in death by parents, Grady and Bessie Walker Nunn; sisters, Dorothy Nunn Barnes, and Polly Nunn Wright; son, Dale Anthony Wallin.

Survivors include her husband, Cecil Wallin; daughters, Denise Wallin Gilreath, and husband Richard, Kim Wallin Cochran, all of LaFayette; Ricky Wallin, Gary Wallin, and Stacey Wallin, all of LaFayette; sister, Barbara Nunn Steele, and husband Jim, of Tallapoosa; 14 grandchild­ren, and 16 great grandchild­ren, several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral service: Saturday, Sept. 21 at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Service conducted by Rev. Billy Wright, and Speaker Wesley Dalton. Burial: Shaw Cemetery. Visitation: Friday, Sept. 20 from 6-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Debbie Lee Brown of LaFayette died Thursday, Sept. 19, 2013. She was 56.

Preceded in death by father, Cecil Brown.

Survivors include her daughter, Jennifer (Justin) Brewer, of Soddy-Daisy; son, Zach Hampton, Warner Robins; mother, Louise Craig Brown, of LaFayette; sisters, Wanda (Terry) Banks, of Chatsworth, and Jane Brown, of LaFayette; brother, Donald (Deborah) Brown, Dalton; grandchild­ren, Cheyanne Hampton, and Tinsley Brewer; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral service: Saturday, Sept. 21 at 8 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Visitation: Saturday, Sept. 21 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Chad Parker Cook of LaFayette died Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2013. He was 32.

Preceded in death by grandparen­ts, Bill and Gwendolyn Jones, Winfred and Betty Cook; and second cousin Josh Jackson.

Survivors include his mother, Cynthia Jones Brown; father, Leonard Parker Cook, both of LaFayette; fiancé, Robin Foster; daughters, Madison Ingle of Ringgold and Chelsea Durham of LaFayette; son, Nick Cook of Ringgold; sister, Savannah Brown of LaFayette; brothers, Christer Brown, and Bill McHan, both of LaFayette; several, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.

Jonathan Ray Brown, 45 Ringgold

Jonathan Ray Brown of Ringgold died Sept. 5, 2013 at Erlanger Hospital. He was 45.

He was born Nov. 25, 1967. He will be missed. Survivors include his mother, Delores Oliver; daughter, Kayla Lachelle Leavitt; granddaugh­ter, Serentity Lachelle Leavitt; son, Michael Ray Brinkley; 2 aunts, 1 uncle and countless friends.

There will be no memorial service held at this time.

Linda Jo Day Foley, 64 Fort Oglethorpe

Linda Jo Day Foley of Fort Oglethorpe died Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2013 in a local hospital. She was 64.

She was a lifelong resident of the Chattanoog­a/North Georgia area was a graduate of East Ridge High School, and Middle Tennessee State University.

Survivors include her husband, Ron Foley of Fort Oglethorpe; mother, Bettye Ellis of East Ridge; son, Dusty (Lindsay) Day; daughter, Heather Chambers, both of Flintstone; a sister, Rhonda Bryan Harbison of East Ridge; and a special friend, Dot Burns; and three grandchild­ren, Will and Kate Chambers, and Dustin Day, Jr.

Memorial Services: Thursday, Sept. 26 at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Pat Davis officiatin­g. Visitation: Wednesday, Sept. 25 from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Trudie Roxanne Green Casey, 56 Summervill­e

Ms. Trudie Roxanne Green Casey of Summervill­e died Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2013. She was 56.

She was born . Jan. 24, 1957, the daughter of the late Elery Green and Melvia Pruitt Green. She is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Janine Strange.

Survivors include her daughters and spouses, Amy Baines and Crystal Bearden; sister, Gina Green; grandchild­ren, Trent, Zoey and Tristan and many close friends and relatives.

Memorial service: Saturday, Sept. 28 at 7 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.

In keeping with Ms. Casey’s wishes she will be cremated.

Visitation: Saturday, Sept. 28 at 5 p.m. until the memorial service hour at the funeral home.

Dianne Harris James, 59 LaFayette

Dianne Harris James of Lafayette died Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2013. She was 59.

She was born to the late Leroy and Lorene Green Harris on Nov. 23, 1953 in LaFayette.

She was a member of Harbor Lights Baptist Church and she enjoyed cooking, singing, but most of all, spending precious time with her grandchild­ren.

Survivors include her husband, Mike James of LaFayette; children, Johnny (Shelly) Johnson and Courtney James, all of LaFayette, Adam (Amber) James of Apison, Amanda (Kevin) Bailey of Trion; sister, Arlene (Charles) Templeton of Fort Oglethorpe; brothers, William (Shirley) Harris, Eddie (Cathey) Harris, all of LaFayette, and six grandchild­ren.

Annette Magdalene Rhoades, 67 Stevenson, Ala.

Annette Magdalene Rhoades of Stevenson, Ala. died Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2013. She was 67.

She was born in Chattanoog­a, Tenn. to the late Samuel Floyd and Maggie Akin and has lived in the Chattanoog­a area for most of her life.

She was a member of Covenant Promise Church in Cleveland, Tenn. and was previously employed with Piccadilly Cafeteria for more than 35 years as a cashier.

She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Raymond Akin and Dewayne Akin.

Survivors include her husband, Allen Ray Rhoades, Sr.; son and daughter-in-law, Allen Ray (Staci) Rhoades, Jr. of Stevenson, Ala.; daughter, Patricia Rogers of East Ridge, Tenn.; sister, Agnes Brodie of Rossville; 5 grandchild­ren, Jeremy Rich, Jared Rhoades, Caleb Rhoades, Keegan Rogers and Cheyenne Rogers and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services: Friday, Sept. 27 at noon in the funeral home chapel with Ken Ellidge officiatin­g. Burial: Lakewood East Memory Gardens. Visitation: Thursday, Sept. 26 after noon and prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home.

Larry Junior Feagan, 66 Dalton

Larry Junior Feagan of Dalton died Monday, Sept. 23, 2013. He was 66.

He was born Feb. 28, 1947 to the late Simmie Robert and Mary Katherine Bagget Feagans in Dalton.

He was of the Baptist faith, a self-employed truck driver and mechanic and he enjoyed football.

He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Clarence Dewayne and Marvin Terry Feagans.

Survivors include his loving wife, Mary Stonecyphe­r Feagans of Dalton; son and daughter-in-law, Marvin and Tonya Feagans of Ringgold; daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Mike Agan of McDonough; sister, Linda Bridges of Ringgold; brothers, Robert Feagans of Ringgold and Bobby Feagans of Ringgold, several nieces and nephews.

Sherron Jeanette Green Steele, 65 LaFayette

Sherron Jeanette Green Steele of LaFayette died Thursday, Sept. 26, 2013. She was 65. She was born May 9, 1948 to the late Oscar Franklin Green Jr. and Helen Margaret Lankford Green in LaFayette. She was of the Baptist faith. She was also preceded in death by her son, Shawn Steele.

Survivors include her husband, Douglas Steele; daughter, Danielle Steele; brother and sister-in-law, Randall and Fannie Green, all of LaFayette; grandson, Corey Steele; several nieces and nephews.

Julia Ann Wilson of Dalton died Saturday, Sept. 28, 2013 at her residence. She was 69.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Bernice Brooks and sister, Barbara Metcalf.

She was a member of Mt. Rachel Baptist Church. She was retired after thirty years as secretary at North Whitfield Middle School.

Survivors include her husband, Thomas Wilson; daughters and son-in-law, Pamela and Dennis Cudd of Dalton and Kimberly Trowell of Alpharetta; son, Thomas Jeffrey Wilson of Dalton; sisters, Shirley Hegwood of Dalton, Donnette Armstrong, Stella Mayes, Sheila Mayes, all of Ringgold, Joan Rainey of Dalton; brother, Larry Brooks of Tunnel Hill; grandchild­ren, Andrew and Casey Cudd of Cleveland and Olivia Trowell of Alpharetta; aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
