Sheriff’s Department Crime Stoppers: ATV, tools stolen

Between Wednesday, April 8, and Tuesday, April 21, a theft occurred in the 1600 block of Dietz Road in Ringgold, in which an ATV and several tools were stolen.

The victim told police someone took a Kawasaki Teryx ATV from the property between the listed dates.

The victim later discovered that several other items had been taken from the shop behind the residence.

Three chainsaws and a Honda generator were also stolen during the incident.

Additional items were sitting on a nearby four-wheeler as if the culprit might be coming back for them.

Between 11:30 p.m. on April 20, and 12:10 a.m. on April 21, a residentia­l burglary occurred on Oklawaha Road in Rossville, in which nearly $900 worth of goods was stolen.

Two Playstatio­n game consoles, multiple Playstatio­n games, a Vizio tablet, and multiple tools were taken during the incident, in addition several prescripti­on medication­s.

Both the victim and his girlfriend agreed that there was no forced entry into the home, but did define the back door as the probably point of entry.
