Gordon Lee finishes busy week still unscathed
Gordon Lee added to its strong start to the year with three more victories last week.

The Trojans picked up a hard-fought win over the Bulldogs last Tuesday night in Chickamauga.
Leadoff hitter Kade Cowan went 2-for-3, while Garren Ramey added a double and drew two walks. Blake Rodgers, Chase Rider and Cody McCutcheon each had a hit, while McCutcheon struck out six Bulldogs on the mound.
Rossville (0-3) made a late charge by scoring three times in the top of the seventh, but fell two runs short.
Zack Harrison was 2-for-4 for the Bulldogs. He drove in two runs, stole two bases and struck out three in two innings on the mound. Chris Maddeaux pitched five innings with four strikeouts and added a double at the plate with a stolen base. Ethan Waters and Logan Fowler both had RBI’s, Dylan Curtis added a hit and Hudson Couch swiped three bases.
Gordon Lee 8, Dade County 7
The Trojans picked up a nice road win on Thursday as Cowan, Rider, Curtis Wells, Holt Roberts, Tanner Wilson and Nate Dunfee all had hits for the Trojans, who moved to 3-0.
Details on Gordon Lee’s non-league game with South Pittsburg (Tenn.) on Friday had not been provided as of press time. Details were also not provided on Rossville’s non-league doubleheader with Jasper (Tenn.), which was also slated for this past Friday.

Back in Chickamauga on Friday, McCutcheon, the starting pitcher, 2-for-2 with a double in the rout. Middle reliever Ethan Rider was 1-for-1 and Wilson added a triple and closed the game on the mound. Together, they combined for six RBIs.
Dunfee was 2-for3 with a pair of RBIs, while Roberts with 3-for-4 with three runs driven in. Cowan and Brodie Genter also had hits for the Trojans.
The Warriors (4-0) erupted at the plate Thursday afternoon, claiming a big home win over the Eagles on Cross Street.
Peyton Tipton threw four innings and got the win on the mound. Carter Davis had two hits. Will Carroll picked up a threerun double, while Blankenship had a tworun double.
