Laney Ray­burn had five saves in goal, while Re­becca Scog­gins was a de­fen­sive stand­out.

Lake­view boys 9, Dade County 0

The War­riors rolled over vis­it­ing Dade County last Wed­nes­day. Sti­van Gali­cia had a hat trick, while Alex Domingo Mar­ro­quin and Bryson Sul­li­van both scored twice. Solo goals by Cooper Kirk and Javier Rafael capped the scor­ing.

Gali­cia and Jalen Glover each had two as­sists, while Mar­ro­quin added one. Lake­view also got solid de­fen­sive mid­field play from Al Has­tic.

The Lady War­riors’ var­sity match against Dade County was played ear­lier this sea­son.

LaFayette boys 1, Lake­view 1

Two teams that could meet up again in the NGAC fi­nals later this spring col­lided in south Walker County

on Fri­day night and when all the dust had set­tled, noth­ing had been de­cided be­tween the War­riors and the Ram­blers.

Pickard put the home team up mid­way through the first half, rac­ing down the right side be­fore beat­ing the Lake­view keeper to the far post and giv­ing the Ram­blers a 1-0 lead.

A bat­tle in the mid­field would en­sue for the next 40 min­utes, but with ap­prox­i­mately 10 min­utes re­main­ing, the War­riors were awarded a free kick on the LaFayette end of the field.

LaFayette’s keeper was able to punch away

the ini­tial shot, but the Ram­blers weren’t able to clear the ball and Lake­view would even­tu­ally knock it home for the equal­izer as the match ended up in a tie.

In­di­vid­ual scor­ing for the War­riors had not been pro­vided as of press time.

LaFayette is now 6-01 on the sea­son, while Lake­view is now 3-0-1.

Re­sults of the girls’ match had not been pro­vided as of press time.

Sad­dle Ridge boys 7, Rossville 1

The Mus­tangs got three goals from Kevin Kremb - his sec­ond hat

trick of the sea­son - in a con­fer­ence win at Rossville on Thurs­day.

Brae­don Hol­land found the net twice for Sad­dle Ridge (2-2-1), while sixth graders Levi Led­ford and Ja­cob Hamil­ton each added a goal and an as­sist. Two more sixth graders, Beck Thrash and Lan­don Kennedy, also added as­sists.

The de­fen­sive ef­fort was led by sixth graders Kaden Miller and Micah New­some, along with Mali Davis.

Evan Fer­gu­son had the lone goal for the Bull­dogs.

Sad­dle Ridge girls 8, Rossville 0

In the girls’ match, the Lady Mus­tangs won their sec­ond game of the year (2-3 over­all) and their first con­fer­ence game of the sea­son as they piled up a school­record eight goals in a shutout win.

Myk­e­ria John­son and Zoe Hag­gard had two each for SRMS, while Elle­son Bruce, Kayla Bai­ley, Alyssa Gary and Aria Shirley each scored their first goals of the sea­son.

Kait­lyn Adams and Win­ter John­son were de­fen­sive stand­outs in help­ing keeper Ce­celia Daven­port get the shutout. Daven­port fin­ished with two saves.
