Matthew Trus­ley threw the first six in­nings, al­low­ing just two earned runs on seven hits. He walked one and fin­ished with four strike­outs. Bass worked the seventh in­ning, giv­ing up one hit. The two runs he al­lowed were un­earned.

Bre­men 3, LFO 2

A marathon night in Car­roll County ended in heart­break­ing fash­ion for the War­riors on Wed­nes­day night as the Blue Devils scored the game-win­ning run on a homer with two outs in the bot­tom of the 11th in­ning and es­caped with a one-run vic­tory.

Don­na­hoo, Brock, Trus­ley and Nel­son Chap­man all had two hits for the War­riors, who col­lected 10 hits on the night. Jack­son Her­rod had the lone RBI. LFO stranded nine run­ners for the game.

Ri­ley Mosier pitched seven strong in­nings for the Red-and-White, but got no de­ci­sion. He scat­tered six hits and al­lowed two runs - one earned run - with four walks and two strike­outs.

Zach Coots pitched the fi­nal 3.2 in­nings and took the tough loss. He gave up an earned run on three hits with one strike­out.

Adairsville 6, LFO 3

The Tigers jumped out to a 6-0 lead af­ter the top of the fifth in­ning and held on to beat the War­riors in Fort Oglethorpe.

The War­riors (126, 5-4) were slated to con­tinue Re­gion 6-AAA play Tues­day at Cal­houn. First pitch is sched­uled for 5:55 p.m. They will host Ring­gold on Thurs­day and play Fri­day at North Murray.
