Kele­hear had a sea­son-high 28 points and grabbed eight re­bounds for Lafayette, who be­gan the week with a 5-0 over­all record. Ram­sey fin­ished with 11 points. South­ern had seven points and 10 re­bounds, while Marsh added six points.

The Lady Ram­blers suf­fered their first loss of the sea­son to Her­itage on Fri­day, but also man­aged to record two more vic­to­ries as they be­gan the new week with a 4-1 over­all mark.

Against Gor­don Lee, Lafayette claimed a 48-38 win as Latyah Bar­ber led the way with 18 points. Nicky Yancy came through with nine points and three steals. Mar­quila How­ell had six points. Myk­e­ria Johnson and Me­gan Wil­son had five each, fol­lowed by Imani Cook with two and Alyssa Es­tus with one.

A three-game win­ning streak came to an end at Her­itage as the Lady Ram­blers fell be­hind by 12 points af­ter one quar­ter and never made up the dif­fer­ence in a 60-40 loss.

Yancy had nine points in the loss for Lafayette. Es­tus had seven points, six re­bounds and a pair of steals. Johnson had seven points and three steals. Bar­ber and Grace Hamil­ton each fin­ished with five points, while Bar­ber picked up seven re­bounds. Lafayette also had a solid night from at the char­ity stripe, con­nect­ing on 11-of-15 at­tempts.

Lafayette got 17 points and 15 re­bounds from Bar­ber in a 50-43 win over Trion on Satur­day. Wil­son had nine points. Ash­ton Stalling had seven points, while How­ell had seven points and six boards.

Yancy and Es­tus had four points apiece with Es­tus col­lect­ing five re­bounds. Johnson and Hai­ley Bryant had one point each in the win.
