CHAR­LOTTE — James Brown Mor­row, Jr., died Novem­ber 20, 2018 at Levine & Dick­son Hos­pice House, Hun­tersville.

Mr. Mor­row, known to friends and fam­ily as J. B., was a Char­lotte na­tive who grad­u­ated from Cen­tral High School. He was a U. S. Army vet­eran and re­tired from AT & T af­ter 34 years.

Mr. Mor­row was born Septem­ber 11, 1938 at Pres­by­te­rian Hos­pi­tal in Char­lotte, N.C. to the late James Brown Mor­row,

Sr. and Mil­dred Cates Mor­row. He was pre­ceded in death by his par­ents and his step- daugh­ter, He­lene Capel Wil­liams.

Mr. Mor­row is sur­vived by his step- daugh­ter, Mary Frances Capel; son, Chance Cates Mor­row, and his wife, Kim­berly Qualls Mor­row, their five chil­dren, Ben­jamin Davis Al­li­son, Jett Cates Mor­row, Coral Jade Mor­row, Zane Qualls Mor­row, and Sage Chance Mor­row. Mr. Mor­row is also sur­vived by his sis­ter, Elsie Mor­row Smith and was her care­giver for many years.

A Cel­e­bra­tion of Life will be held in Char­lotte at a later date.
