MID­LAND — Wil­lie Mae “Bill” Glos­son (Granny), 101, of Mid­land, passed away Fri­day, Novem­ber 30, 2018 at Clear Creek Nurs­ing & Re­ha­bil­i­ta­tion Cen­ter in Mint Hill.

Mrs. Glos­son was born June 13, 1917 in Meck­len­burg County to the late James Ed­ward Braf­ford and the late Florence Wil­liams Braf­ford. She was also pre­ceded in death by her hus­band, Edd Kerr Glos­son; sis­ters, Grace Hough, Madge Long Phillips, Thelma Mor­ri­son; and brother, Joe B. Braf­ford.

Bill re­tired from Kayser-Roth, Concord. She was a mem­ber of Dulin’s Grove Ad­vent Chris­tian Church. She was a won­der­ful Chris­tian wife, mother and grand­mother. She loved her fam­ily, friends and church. She was known for her witty sense of hu­mor.

The fam­ily will re­ceive friends from 1: 00PM

- 2: 00PM, Mon­day, De­cem­ber 3, 2018, Dulin’s Grove Ad­vent Chris­tian Church at 11200 Ar­ling­ton Church Rd, Char­lotte. The fu­neral ser­vice will fol­low in the church sanc­tu­ary at 2: 00PM of­fi­ci­ated by Rev. Matt Broad­way. Burial will fol­low in the church ceme­tery.

Sur­vivors in­clude sons, Ted Glos­son (Becky) and Edd Glos­son (Ann); daugh­ter, Linda Per­ault (Bill); 8 grand­chil­dren, 17 great grand­chil­dren, 8 great great grand­chil­dren as well as sev­eral nieces and neph­ews.

In lieu of f low­ers, memo­ri­als may be made to Dulin’s Grove Ad­vent Chris­tian Church, 11200 Ar­ling­ton Church Road, Char­lotte, NC 28227.
