Margaret ‘Peggy’ Dukinas

Margaret “Peggy” Dukinas, 87, of Dallas, passed away peacefully on Friday, Nov. 9, 2018, at Timber Ridge Health Care Center, Wilkes-barre.
Born Sept. 16, 1931, in Edwardsville, Peggy was the daughter of the late William and Martha (Greenley) Williams.
Peggy was a graduate of Kingston Twp. High School, Class of 1949, and attended Wyoming Seminary Business School.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed in the accounting department of Nabisco/kraft Foods. After retiring, Margaret pursued her artistic talent and started her own business of crafting and selling porcelain dolls. She was a member of Gate of Heaven Church, Dallas, and also a member and past president of the National Alliance on Mental Illness of Northeastern Pennsylvania.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Dukinas, in 2008.
Surviving are her children, Ronald Dukinas, Dallas; Lauren Chimock, Dallas; and Gregory Dukinas, Luzerne; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Bednarski Funeral Home, 168 Wyoming Ave., Wyoming.
Family and friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of service Tuesday at the funeral home.
Interment will follow in Fern Knoll Cemetery, Dallas.
