Frank P. Sro­movski, of Wilkes-barre Twp., passed Away Thurs­day, Dec. 6, 2018, sur­rounded by his fam­ily, At his home.

Born Aug. 23, 1925, in Wilkes-barre, he was A son of the late John And Mary Ste­fus Sro­movski.

Frank was A grad­u­ate of Wilkes-barre Twp. High School And Wilkes Col­lege.

He, Along with his late wife, owned And op­er­ated Frank’s Mar­ket in WilkesBarre Twp. for many years.

Frank was An U.S. Army vet­eran of World WAR II, serv­ing in the North Ap­pen­nines, Po Val­ley, Rhineland And in Air com­bat in the Balkans. He was Awarded the World WAR II Vic­tory Medal, Amer­i­can The­ater Ser­vice Medal, EAME Ser­vice Medal with four Bronze Stars, Good Con­duct Medal, And Air Medal with two Bronze Stars.

He was Also A mem­ber of the Knights of Columbus, Coun­cil 302, Wilkes-barre, As A fourth de­gree knight; St. Ni­cholas Church, WilkesBarre, Af­ter the closing of St. Joseph’s Church, WilkesBarre Twp.; Amer­i­can Le­gion Post 815, WilkesBarre Twp.; And the Vet­er­ans of For­eign Wars Lani Post 6325, Wilkes-barre.

He was pre­ceded in death by his wife, Ethel I. Sro­movski, on March 22, 2015; son, Frank; grand­son, Thomas Hynes; son-in-law, Pa­trick De­laney; broth­ers, John, An­drew, Joseph, An­thony And Michael Sro­movski; sis­ters, Mary Waschilla, Catherine Elick And Rose Gel­sle­ichter.

Sur­viv­ing Are daugh­ters, Carol Ann Hynes And her hus­band, Harry, WilkesBarre Twp.; Pa­tri­cia Gurnari And her hus­band, An­thony, Ed­wardsville; And Mary Beth De­laney, Wilkes-barre Twp.; sons, Paul And his wife, Sharon, Wilkes-barre Twp.; Frank Jr. And his wife, Linda, Wilkes-barre Twp.; Don­ald And his wife, Vicki, Bear Creek Twp.; Michael And Joseph, both of Wilkes-barre Twp.; And David And his wife, De­bra, Ponte Ve­dra, FLA.; 29 grand­chil­dren; 18 great­grand­chil­dren; And one great-great-grand­child.

Fu­neral ser­vices will be held At 9:30 A.m. on Mon­day from Jen­drze­jew­ski Fu­neral Home, 21 N. Meade St., Wilkes-barre, with A Mass of Chris­tian Burial At 10 A.m. At St. Ni­cholas Church, S. Wash­ing­ton St., Wilkes-barre. Mon­signor Joseph Vere­spy, pas­tor, will be cel­e­brant. In­ter­ment with mil­i­tary hon­ors will fol­low in St. Mary’s Ceme­tery, Hanover Twp.
