For­ward Jean-se­bastien Dea was re­called by Pitts­burgh on Fri­day af­ter the par­ent club placed Do­minik Si­mon on in­jured re­serve. Dea had two as­sists in his two games with Wilkes-barre/ Scran­ton.

For­ward Ryan Scarfo made his first start as a Pen­guin af­ter be­ing ac­quired in a trade with Belleville dur­ing the week.
