Ed­ward S. Na­fus II “Sonny”, 72, of Nan­ti­coke, passed into the arms of the Lord on Tues­day, Jan. 8, 2019, at home with his lov­ing fam­ily.

He was born June 28, 1946, in WilkesBarre.

Ed­ward was pre­de­ceased by his par­ents, Ed­ward and June Na­fus; first wife, Ann M. Evans; step­son, James Col­bey; brother, Franklin Na­fus; sis­ters, Sarah Gre­newich, Myra Na­fus; and sis­ter-in-law, Gerry Na­fus.

He is sur­vived by his wife, Mary Na­fus; daugh­ters, June Na­fus, Carla Prado, Elaine Cun­ning­ham, Ann Marie Na­fus; son, Ed­ward S. Na­fus III; step­daugh­ter, Tammy Turner; sis­ters, Rose Na­fus, Miriam Kis­baugh (Mim), Ruth Ger­hardy; brothers, James Na­fus and Ge­orge Na­fus. In ad­di­tion to grand­chil­dren, great­grand­chil­dren, sis­ters-in­law, brothers-in-law, nieces and neph­ews also sur­vive.

Ser­vices will be held at noon Tues­day at Sal­va­tion Army, 17 S. Penn Ave., Wilkes-barre, fol­lowed by a din­ner for fam­ily and friends.
