DeSales rolls behind Asamoah, Velazquez

Brian Asamoah and Joey Velazquez each ran for 58 yards and scored two touchdowns in pacing host DeSales (2-0) to a 34-14 win over Lancaster (0-2).

Asamoah scored the game’s first two TDs, and Velazquez added his two in the second and third quarters as the Stallions rolled to a 34-0 lead.

Cole Silvestri accounted for 156 total yards, 96 passing and 60 rushing, including a 62-yard touchdown pass to Anthony Sciarroni.

Shea Goss led Lancaster with 78 yards and a rushing touchdown. Ashton Walker added 42 yards and a score.

Jack Foley rushed for 153 yards and two touchdowns on 27 carries as host Ready (1-1) pummeled Lakewood (0-2). Foley began the scoring with a 12-yard scamper in the first quarter for the Silver Knights, who rolled to a 28-7 lead by halftime. He added an 18-yard TD run in the third quarter. Austin Aiello added 69 yards and a touchdown on the ground for Ready, and he found Ryan Wood on a 19-yard touchdown toss in the first quarter. Connor Vierstra threw for a pair of touchdowns to lead the Lancers. from Henry as the Raiders built a 13-0 lead in the second quarter.

KJ Price ran for 229 yards and three touchdowns as London (1-1) stormed past visiting Madison Plains (1-1). Price scored twice in the first quarter, including one from 49 yards, to help give the Red Raiders a 23-0 lead. He added a 40-yard TD run in the third quarter. Dallas Kimbler added a 68-yard score and totaled 128 yards rushing for the Red Raiders.

Levi Parsell scored on a 4-yard run with 1:02 left in the first half to propel host Bloom-Carroll (2-0) past Liberty Union (1-1). Chaise Wohrer of Liberty Union had 53 yards on 17 carries to lead all rushers.

Northmor’s (2-0) Demetrius Johnson ran for 204 yards and four touchdowns in a blowout win over host Worthingto­n Christian (0-2). Conan Becker added 137 yards on the ground and two TDs, while Michael Hartings led the Warriors with 193 yards rushing and a pair of scores.
