The United States women’s national soccer team is coming to central Ohio.

U.S. Soccer announced Thursday that the third SheBelieves Cup, an international tournament featuring women’s national teams from the U.S., Germany, England and France, will kick off with a March 1 doubleheader at Mapfre Stadium.

No. 3 England is scheduled to take on No. 6 France at 4 p.m., followed by a 7 p.m. game between the topranked U.S. team against No. 2 Germany on ESPN2.

Other sets of doubleheaders will follow March 4 in Harrison, New Jersey, and March 7 in Orlando, Florida.

The second set of doubleheaders in the round-robin style event — U.S.-France and Germany-England — takes place March 4 at Red Bull Arena in Harrison, New Jersey, followed by a third and final doubleheader — France-Germany and U.S.-England — on March 7 at Orlando City Stadium.

Tickets for the three doubleheaders go on sale Jan. 11.

In last year’s tournament, the U.S. defeated Germany but lost to both England and France to finish fourth. The U.S. won each of its three games in the inaugural SheBelieves Cup in 2016.

The women’s national team is 5-1-1 at Mapfre Stadium.

The doubleheader precedes Crew SC’s home opener by nine days. The Crew kicks off its season at BMO Field in Toronto on March 3 before returning to Mapfre Stadium on March 10 to play the Montreal Impact.
