Reggie Bullock scored 12 of his 16 points in the first quarter for the Pistons. It was tied at 32 after one, then Detroit held Milwaukee to 12 points in the second and led 53-44 at halftime. DeMar DeRozan scored 21 points and Kyle Lowry added 17 points, 11 assists and seven rebounds to lead the Toronto Raptors to a win over the Orlando Magic. Pascal Siakam had 14 points, including 10 in the final five minutes as the Raptors pulled away for their 11th win in 13 games. Jakob Powell added 13 points and Fred Van Fleet had 12. The Los Angeles Lakers have waived veteran guard Corey Brewer. The Lakers also recalled big man Thomas Bryant from their G League affiliate on Wednesday. The 31-year-old Brewer joined the Lakers late last season from Houston in a trade for Lou Williams. The Lakers bought out Brewer’s contract so he could have a chance to sign with a playoff contender.
